Kyle McClelland Military Heritage
Kyle’s grandfather first served as an officer in the United States Army in World War II and then the Korean War where he was awarded the Bronze Star. His father served in the United States Marine Corps in the 1980’s based out of Yuma, AZ before receiving an honorable discharge in 1985.
Kyle McClelland Military Service
Kyle entered the Air Force in March of 2004 where he volunteered to train and become a Tactical Air Control Party (TACP). After completing his training at Hurlburt Field, FL, he was stationed at Fort Hood, TX, as part of the 11th Air Support Operations Squadron (ASOS). From there he was deployed to Iraq in 2006. While deployed in Iraq, he was embedded as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) with the 2-506 Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, KY.
From April of 2008 to April of 2009, Kyle was stationed at Camp Red Cloud Korea, where he supported the 2nd Infantry Division with the 604th ASOS.
After serving in Korea, Kyle was stationed at Fort Stewart, GA, with the 15th ASOS. He was shortly thereafter deployed to Afghanistan in late 2009. In Afghanistan, he was embedded as a JTAC with the 3-71 Cavalry Squadron, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, NY.
In March of 2010, Kyle received an honorable discharge and separated from the United States Air Force as a Staff Sergeant.

Kyle is a native of Texas originally from Houston. He has been part of the Austin community since 2010 moving here after finishing his military service with the United States Air Force. He has been in real estate since the summer of 2011 and has experienced the exponential growth Austin has seen over the last decade. Kyle started out specializing in residential new construction sales and quickly added veterans with their unique needs to his specialties. From here he has found his passion working with veterans and ensuring they take advantage of the many programs available to them from their service.
